The Challenge Andros Technologies needed to expand and consolidate operations after a fire damaged a large portion of their existing facility in West Berkeley, California. As a result of the fire, Andros was struggling with a complicated lease and several insurance issues. It was essential that they keep building costs low (in a rising market), and had a strict occupancy timeframe.

The Solution Michael Harrison secured a 65,000 square foot Class A office and R&D facility with a structured lease so that Andros could maximize insurance proceeds from the fire. The facility could easily accommodate future growth with its expansion potential. Michael promptly negotiated a lease contract, which allowed ample time for the landlord to meet Andros’ pressing occupancy timeframe.
