The Challenge
Dynavax Technologies needed to secure space for expansion in an expensive, highly competitive real estate market. They required the facility site to be near the current R&D building and were explicit on their desire for short-term flexibility.
The Solution
To provide Dynavax with the ability to expand operations, Equistone Partners was part of the team that secured a space in a building just a few blocks from their existing laboratory facility. The Dynavax future plans included a consolidation effort. The team structured a lease term on the expansion premises, allowing Dynavax to merge into one building at a future date.
